The Accessory Service Connector is usually recommended when adding new electrical accessories that did not come pre-equipped on your Nissan, for example, Illuminated Kick Plates or Interior Accent Lighting. The connector comes equipped with a plastic port on one end and colored wires coming from the port. Usually, you'll only require one Accessory Service Connector even if you're installing more than one new accessory. When in doubt, contact your nearest Nissan service center location for assistance.

The Accessory Service Connector is only made to work with genuine accessories approved by Nissan. Using the connector in tandem with non-OEM accessories could lead to serious damage to the accessory or even your vehicle.
